My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were celebrating our 50th anniversary & couldn't have asked for anything better! The view from the balcony was perfect! The bed & sofa were very comfortable! Communication with Crown Mare was absolutely the best! Always answered my questions in an extremely prompt fashion & always very pleasant. Would definitely stay there again!

On the surface this property was clean and nice looking—bathroom very clean, with nice towels and little “extras”, refrigerator and kitchen area very clean as well. Unfortunately the smell of the cleaning product used was overwhelming and did not disappear over our two night stay. Glad we brought our own coffee mugs as the ones in the cupboard we pulled out were not clean. Not sure about the other pans and dishes as we did not cook there. We also needed to clean keurig of leftover coffee grounds. The A/C unit needs an upgrade as the humidity level was not great, and we did not leave the slider to balcony open at all. Bed was not uncomfortable but extremely squeaky loud every time my husband turned in the night. For check-in and communication with property manager, I would suggest using texting for convenience of immediate messaging instead of email as I do not regularly check my email throughout the day and so did not always know when a new message had been sent. Nice balcony view, older building, good for a short stay.
