About this house rental
Welcome to our stunning mountain retreat in Idaho Springs, located just a short walk from the famous hot springs! This home on Soda Creek is the perfect getaway for large groups or families, with 4 spacious bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 10 guests. This home also includes a private sauna, perfect for relaxing sore muscles after a day of skiing or hiking.

It was a nice little place only thing was wrong it showed on the list that it air conditioning and it was false they only had fans to use.

Overall a good stay and a good property. The check-in process was messy, though. There was a keypad on the door and lockbox dangling from the door knob. The Vrbo email gave us the lockbox code that opened to a key. The key didn't work on anything. There was a second email that told us a code for the keypad. That code didn't work. We messaged the host and about 15-20 mins later we got a third code that did open the keypad.FYI - Three bedrooms upstairs and a master bedroom downstairs. We all stayed upstairs since the master bed was really, really firm. The house is full of quirky tiny closet doors. Strange, but just part of an old house's charm.You can't get to the attic, but there is a small attic window on the front of the house. The light in the attic is on and that freaked my wife out a little. Didn't bother anyone else.

Stayed for 5 days. Location is great, easy to get to. Had enough space for family to relax. The little teepee was a hit. Kitchen and dining space were awesome. There are 4 bedrooms, beds slept well. Enjoyed our stay.

This was a nice place to stay with a big group. Easy to hang out and cook big meals. Unfortunately, parts of the house absolutely reeked of cat urine. In addition, the neighbors are quite loud; working on cars and cutting scrap, and throwing parties until midnight. Also, not mentioned in the listing, you will only be given a “starter pack” of sunrises like toilet paper and dish detergent, which will only last 2-4 days, then you will have to buy your own. I was not told this until day-of.
