Gamarra is the ideal place to enjoy Lekeitio. It has an unbeatable location next to the side of the town hall. An area with a lot of life and a meeting point for the lekitttarras, next to the beach and the port that are just a step away, as well as the historic center and the area of bars, restaurants and shops in the town. Strolling around the port with an ice cream, tasting a good fish while wetting your lips with a txakolí, having a drink in the area, stepping on the beaches of Isuntza and Karraspio that come together at low tide, or walking along the platform that takes you to the Garraitz Island, or as the locals call San Nicolás Island, only at low tide, are indescribable pleasures that you can enjoy in a few meters around.
Outside of Lekeitio, if your idea is to get to know the Basque Country beyond Lekeitio, you are in an ideal place to discover idyllic settings in the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, get to know the coastal towns and their beaches, let yourself be seduced by the mystical surroundings of San Juán de Gaztelugatxe or delve into inland towns such as Gernika and learn about the history behind the famous Picasso painting in the peace museum, as well as the importance and symbolism of the Gernika tree for the Basques, in addition to Get to know the Basque capitals that are less than an hour and a half away by car.

Gamarra is a modern and comfortable house with capacity for 4 people, located in the heart of the old town, but, unlike most of the old buildings in the old part, with a completely remodeled interior with good materials and electric heating to enjoy the area also in winter. It is a modern house with gray and light ocher colors mixed with rustic touches of wood. After a wide entrance corridor, we find a living room with a comfortable sofa and a vintage earmuff to enjoy the light and the views that enter from the small balconies from where we will appreciate the lively life of the street, and where we will enjoy the rest and moments of disconnection with a smart tv. The kitchen is fully equipped with all kinds of high-quality appliances, including a dishwasher or a washing machine, to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The house has two rooms with windows to a courtyard. One with two 0.80m single beds, and the other with a 1.50m double bed. It also has two bathrooms. One only as a toilet and another complete with a shower.
In short, a luxury home, with free WIFI, to enjoy Lekeitio as you deserve in a perfect location to enjoy this peculiar and lively coastal town.

Right at the heart of beautiful Lekeitio, you will find Gamarra. Just go outside to enjoy a friendly environment that has it all: excellent food, friendly people, the beach and the port at a 2 minutes away walking distance. The host was wonderful and the staff at Baskeyrentals incredibly helpful and immediately available. Lekeitio is a hidden gem in the Basque Country. Your experience will be magnified if you stay in Gamarra.
