Charming 1Bdrm•Extensive Cleaning•Downtown SLC

Was in a good location of downtown SLC, spacious, clean and easy to access.

Space was nice and worked for our needs. Con’s:There was a few cleanliness issues, I could tell the vacuum had not been run over the carpet as I picked up large pieces of plastic and debris from the prior visitors. The bathroom has a large water stain damage on the roof.Pros: Bedding was clean and very comfortable bed. Building felt safe and the view out the window to the church and listening to the bells was enjoyable. Parking is located across the street in an additional lot.

Decent stay close to Down town. Host was very accessible and kindly allowed me to enter the apartment early. The space itself was clean enough. The carpet in the bedroom appeared to be original circa 1980. Made me wish I had slippers. Curtain rods were bent out of shape or falling off the wall. My main cleanliness problem was with the coffee machine. It's about the only non-negotiable I have with a stay, and the coffee pot was so crusty it was unusable. And last, this apartment is on the FOURTH FLOOR with NO ELEVATOR. Information that I think is extremely important to know coming in. I would have passed on this listing based on that. Host asks that trash be taken out before you leave, but with a 4 flight hike (2.5 going down the back stairs) that was just not possible.
