Maldon Cosy Garden Cottage is truly a couples secret hideaway. Nestled in the 1 acre grounds of rolling tree lined garden, get away from it all in a quaint, one room country studio cottage. Separate from the main property, find all the usual comforts plus a generous walk-in shower and en-suite, a cove ceiling, kitchenette with microwave and a super comfy Queen sized bed. Relax in the country cottage ambiance, with split system cooling and heating, a ceiling fan and a smart TV with Netflix, Disney Plus, ABC Iview and Stan, you will want for nothing in this well equipped weekend getaway. Complete with a private outdoor garden nook and a 2 person cafe table/chairs, a gas BBQ and garden areas with 2 outdoor settings, relax in your own secluded 1 acre oasis of trees and gardens, enjoy a picnic and a glass of bubbly in your own private haven. Only a 5-10 minute stroll to Maldon Town, around the corner from the Maldon Steam Train, and walking distance to shops and cafes, this cottage is perfect for a retreat while visiting our historic village.
In a country lane only a stones throw from nearby farms and bushland, you can’t beat this little cottage for the best of the country while still in town. The studio cottage is separate from the main house, with a private driveway, screening foliage separating the cottage from the house and a private 1 acre area of garden to enjoy separate from the rest of the 3 acre house and property. It is an entirely separate and private retreat area. Guests have said 'The cottage is close to town and in a quiet corner of a lovely garden. The bed is comfortable and the cottage is warm and inviting with all the mod cons you could need for a relaxing weekend stay. Delightfully charming touches and helpful hosts' . It was a pleasure to stay in the cottage again, this time celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary. It was as beautiful and as quite and peaceful as we remembered the first time, and as we knew what to expect, we had an amazingly relaxing getaway. The bottle of Moet in the fridge was such an amazing surprise.....just fantastic all-round.

Firstly, Maldon is an absolutely beautiful town that you really must experience, but if it's a relaxing secluded and private getaway that you are after, consider staying at the Cozy Cottage. Located a bout 10 mins walk and 2 mins drive from the town centre, this amazingly quiet and conveniently placed studio is just what you need, no more, no less. Containing all of the required amenities, you get the chance to relax in comfort and peace and quiet. We had a beautiful weekend, so much so that I didn't want to build this place up too much as it's that good, and don't want to many people to know about it. The hosts are fantastic, everything is conveniently set-up for you, just to make it all easy and accessible. Book here and enjoy, we did and will be doing so again really soon.
