Delamore Cove - Karaka - Stay Waiheke

The property was very nice, well appointed with all the amenities you need. Great communication, really appreciated the stay.

My only suggestion is the other two units have a balcony and this one didn’t and it would have been nice but I didn’t realise there were options. Next time! :) .

Unfortunately, our stay was impacted by a few issues that made it difficult to be comfortable. The heat pump didn't seem to be working effectively — despite setting it to a high temperature with the fan on full, the room remained very cold and we couldn't feel any warm air coming from the unit. There were also no electric blankets provided on the bed. While there was a spare blanket available, it was a lightweight synthetic blanket rather than a warmer wool option, so we ended up wearing extra layers and even our coats indoors and to bed to stay warm. We were also disappointed to find that access to the deck was locked. Given the property's beautiful view, it wasn't clear from the booking that this area would be unavailable to guests. Some clarification on this in the listing would be helpful. Finally, having to wash dishes in the bathroom sink was not ideal from a hygiene perspective and detracted from the overall experience. With a few improvements to the heating, bedding, and clearer communication about guest access to certain areas, this could be a much more comfortable stay.
