sorting out the TV.....but I'm old and NOT clued up on technology ....but it wasn't a problem with the snap of whatsApp the landlord was there to help.....fabulous!

❗️I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS ACCOMMODATION❗️
We are an elderly couple, and we stayed for 8 days. A stay that sadly became stressful and uncomfortable due to the host’s behaviour. The host is extremely unfriendly, unreasonable, and invasive. During our time there, we experienced two genuine emergencies: our car developed electronic problems, and my husband became ill and urgently needed medication. On both occasions, our family briefly entered the property to assist us. Despite these being real emergencies, the host accused us of “breaking house rules” for having “visitors,” treating our situations as intentional misconduct. This was especially unreasonable considering there were no other guests on the property at the time. To make matters worse, nowhere in the booking rules does it state that visitors are not allowed. This so-called rule was only communicated to us on the day of arrival, after full payment had already been made. This is misleading, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. Privacy was another serious issue. The host kept himself constantly busy outside our window, to the point where I had to dress in the bathroom or keep the curtains closed at all times. This level of monitoring felt intrusive and inappropriate.
What is even more concerning is that the host is now accusing us of leaving the property “in a filthy state” and of “tearing curtains.” These claims are completely false and blatantly dishonest, clearly an attempt to deflect attention from his own unacceptable behaviour. For the record, my track record on Booking.com speaks for itself. We are avid travellers and always respect the properties and hosts we stay with. Never before have we encountered a host who behaves in this manner. If you value a host who is reasonable, respectful, and mindful of guest privacy, I strongly recommend AVOIDING this guesthouse.
