The location was perfect with it being a short walk from Golders Green tube station, making public transport easily accessible. The apartment was clean and we felt safe. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of storage for clothes. We requested an early check-in only a day before our arrival and this was facilitated for us. The staff were super helpful and quick to reply to any queries we had.

The only downside was that the room was warm and there was only 1 fan provided despite there being 2 double beds, meaning one of the beds didn’t get any of the breeze (it was not an oscillating fan). Our room was on the lowest floor so I’m unsure if this may have contributed to the heat.

We stayed at the apartment for one night during hot weather and were horrified at how hot it was, all through the night! It was not fit or safe to be there in that temperature, which was over 30 degrees C. We were unfortunate that the apartment we were in was on the top floor of the block. As we ascended the stairs we could feel the temperature rising with every floor. During the night it was significantly hotter inside the apartment than outside. There was a large fan in the room which we had directed at the bed but it did little to keep us cool. These apartments should not be rented out during hot weather (especially as we paid nearly £200 for one night!) until some proper air conditioning is installed. It was even worse for us in our situation as the reason we were staying there was to be close to the hospital we were having a caesarean operation at the following morning! We were actually scared during the night whether the baby was going to be ok! Even for a regular person the temperature was not healthy, but for anyone with any health conditions it was definitely not safe. We should have been contacted to warn us of the heat inside the apartment, offered cooler accommodation, and reimbursement. It’s a shame about the temperature issue as, were this not the case, it would be a pleasant, well fitted out apartment.
