I really enjoyed my stay at Northmead Lodge. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was overall a peaceful and pleasant experience.
However, I did have a couple of concerns. On one of the nights, some guests arrived after 1:30 am and made quite a bit of noise, which disturbed my sleep. There also seems to be a couple staying long-term who were involved in a loud argument related to drug use — this made me feel slightly uncomfortable, especially as it happened near my room.
That said, the lodge itself is lovely and well-kept. I would consider staying again, but I do hope management addresses the issue of noise and guest conduct, especially late at night.
