The hotel room was accomodating for 2 nights. It had what we needed - it is within walking distance or short ride to the historic sites in Manila. It had the basic necessities that we needed. It is a bit worn but is pretty clean. After checking out, they let us store our luggage which was helpful too.
You have to leave an ID at the reception desk during your stay. I did not want to leave my passport but they were willing to accept a driver's license or similar ID. Just remember to take another form of ID in order to leave.

The space of the room and some and the location which is accessible with transport and can be walked to the shops.
The kitchen facilities needs changing and some repairs needed. I wasn't informed ahead of time that the range hood was broken by the previous occupants. The rice cooker can't be used for fire safety.
