Just about as good as it gets!

Absolutely wonderful property in a beautiful location. Very friendly welcome by charming staff. Lovely room with excellent facilities. Breakfast was sublime as you would expect from a Michelin stared establishment.

nice stay nice surrounding but some work still needed to justify price

light in side cupboard for tea making as not easy to see heating was turned off at night partner found the room not hot enough was not a very cold day out side but heating on full max temp 65. my cooked breakfast nice but option very limited for non cook breakfast eater .

Sundays not the best day to stay…

Breakfast was good, but not the best I’ve had at a hotel.

Bar & restaurant were not open in the evening and they could not offer a table for lunch (Sunday) so we had to eat at a nearby hotel.

It is pretty and conveniently located near the Norfolk coast. The breakfast was excellent and the choices limitless!

I guess I hadn’t done my research about the rooms adequately and was misled by another review encouraging the mannington room. The hotel was wonderful to accommodate my request to stay in that room but I didn’t realise it had eves and beams which is what we were trying to escape🤣. However the room was characterful but next time I hope we stay at the Blickling room which looked a bit more to our taste. I was also perplexed about the prices. When I called on Thursday/Friday, I was told that the rooms were £365 and then the dinners would be £125/- each. I personally felt that was too steep and am still uncertain if the rooms expulsion actually be £365. I would have been disappointed if I had paid that for mannington.

Relaxing and beautiful location. Food and staff were exceptional!

Location was perfect for exploring the local and scenic coastline. A beautiful hotel, feels like it needs some investment in the interior which seemed a bit random and dated. It could be exceptional with the right choices.

A truly special Norfolk stay and culinary experience

We found the Hall itself and surrounding gardens enchanting. It has vintage charm and modern convenience. Our Superior room was excellent with a spacious bedroom, luxurious linens and toiletries and a beautiful bathroom tucked in the eves. The name of the room was Mannington and I would recommend requesting it. We both thought the room was a good value. The dinner in the restaurant was truly exceptional in terms of fresh local ingredients and imaginative combinations of taste and texture.

The only thing we could say is that the dinner (tasting menu) felt overpriced. It was exceptional and made for a good special occasion dinner, but we are unlikely to ever do it again.

We booked a superior room with a view and got a view of the car park . The room was quite expensive and we expected better . The staff weren’t very friendly except for one of the young breakfast waitresses

Couldn’t use bath or shower as it was overhead and didn’t want to get my hair wet even though there was a shower cap . Couldn’t use bath as have a bad knee and no grab rail to get in bath

A lovely overnight stay would return

Beautiful property our room was lovely very well kitted out looked as if it had only recently been refitted . Comfy bed chairs and fire in room were a nice touch the breakfast room was nice as was the breakfast

Not well signposted and the room we were allocated wasn’t in the hall but in an annexe at the end of the drive we arrived late so no staff on duty followed verbal instructions and located our key
