A True Home Away from Home – 10/10! I’m a returning guest at Baia do Mundo, and I’ve been coming back over the past three years. This summer alone, I stayed here twice for a total of three weeks — and that probably says everything about how much I love this place! ❤️ Susette and Oscar are truly wonderful hosts. They are so friendly, kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring, always ready to help and happy to share useful information and recommendations about Setúbal. What makes the experience so special is the way they treat their guests — they make me feel like part of the family, rather than simply a guest. Every time I return, it feels like I’m coming back to my second home. On my first stay this summer, I stayed in the Serra Room, which was fantastic. The room was very spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything you could need. The bathroom was excellent, especially the amazing walk-in shower. For my second stay, I had the pleasure of staying in the Rio Room, which is an absolute jewel. The décor is beautiful, and the room has a lovely window and small balcony overlooking the main road, right in the heart of downtown Setúbal. It was such a charming experience to stay right in the centre of everything. And then there’s the breakfast — truly top level! Fresh, locally produced fruit that was incredibly tasty, delicious pastries and bread, a great selection of ham and cold cuts, and an excellent variety of traditional local cheeses. The selection of hot drinks was also fantastic. Breakfast was so generous and satisfying that it was enough to keep me going practically all day! I also want to highlight the exceptional cleanliness, the very comfortable bed and pillows, and the fresh, beautifully scented towels and bed linen. Every detail shows the care and attention that Susette and Oscar put into making their guests feel comfortable. After three years of returning, Baia do Mundo is no longer just a place where I stay when I visit Setúbal.

Nothing to mention because everything was more than great !

The hotel is centrally located - a short walk from Setúbal’s main attractions. The staff are extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. Everything was very clean and, in particular, the breakfast buffet was very tasty and varied.

Le top du top. Suzette est adorable, la chambre magnifique, très bien équipée et le petit déj grandiose. La localisation est top, dans le centre historique. Bref si je devais revenir , je ne chercherai pas ailleurs. J'aimerais pouvoir délocaliser cette nuit partout où je vais. Obligada Suzette !
