OCEAN Front Kona Studio - Spectacular view!

I had a wonderful view of the ocean and Alii drive. The room had almost everything I needed. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware, coffee maker, small appliances, and cleaning products. Plenty of towels (bath, pool, kitchen). I didn’t use the tv, but I did use the WiFi which worked just fine. The bed and chairs in the unit were comfortable and there was a small dresser to hang clothes (including hangars). I used the AC and it cooled the space quickly. I used the laundry facilities. They are run using an app with a QR code. There are 5 washing machines, but 2 were out of order. There were 8 or 10 dryers. I did not use the pool, hot tub, or BBQ grills, but they all looked well maintained. The only thing I wish they had were better beach chairs. These seemed a little dated and didn’t have a cover to carry them. But other than that, I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely return.

Checking in was really easy and the condo was clean and had everything I needed. I loved being able sit out on the deck and enjoy the view of the ocean. It is also in a great location and could walk to shops and dining. Host was responsive to any questions I had. I was only there 2 days, and never had a chance to check out the pool area. I would definitely stay here again.

Positive: enjoyed the beautiful view of the ocean, property, proximity to shops, walkability, pool and hot tub, beds pretty comfortable. Room ok for a place to crash after a day of enjoying Hawaii vibes. Criticism: initial communication fine, happy to secure our booking but communication after that was very poor. Attempted to add a night, was willing to change rooms due to availability issues but she just never followed up after multiple attempts so I had to go to another host down the road. Lost my business for that extra night. Then, I attempted to find out what the kitchenette included in advance, but after 2 days of no answer she finally wrote that she has an electric kettle after we had already checked in. We didn't bring ours, hoped she had it. She does not have an electric kettle. She boasts "kitchenette" and pots and pans but this is also not true. There's nothing to cook on, no pots and pans, just a microwave, dishes, a mini fridge and a coffee pot, housed in the bathroom closet. The limited bathroom counter space doubles as the kitchenette space, awkward and irritating. There's plenty of space for a simple microwave cart with an extendable counter. The main rub: for a three night stay and two people I only got one pool towel and one bath towel each with no response to my request for additional towels. The host is cheap about linens, has FALSE ADVERTISING and will IGNORE YOU once she has your money. Next time, find a better host here!!!
