About this house rental
This spacious home boasts 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is located just steps from East Port Marina in Alpine, Tennessee. The spectacular lake view from the house truly can’t be beat! Spend your vacation enjoying all the lake has to offer during the day, and relax in the evenings with fun family activities like roasting marshmallows over the fire pit, grilling, playing board games and cornhole, or simply enjoying the peaceful outdoors.
As you enter the home, you’ll be welcomed by a bright, open floor plan with plenty of natural light and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The house features two levels, both offering beautiful lake views. Upstairs includes a kitchen, dining area, living space, three bedrooms, and a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Downstairs you’ll find a second kitchen, laundry room, a cozy sitting area with a pull-out sofa, one bedroom, and a second bathroom with a shower.
High-speed WiFi and cable television are provided, so you can stay connected, stream your favorite shows, or catch the big game. Both kitchens are fully equipped with silverware, plates, mugs, and all the essentials to cook a delicious meal. A propane grill is also available on the porch for your use. Bath towels, kitchen towels, and bed linens are provided, but we kindly ask guests to bring their own beach/pool towels.
The home comfortably sleeps 8 guests, with room for 2 additional guests on the downstairs pull-out sofa.
We love dogs at The Grand View and welcome all well-behaved, potty-trained pups with a pet deposit. East Port Marina is also dog-friendly, so your furry friend will feel right at home!
A few important notes to keep in mind before booking:
Firewood for the firepit is not included, but we’re happy to recommend nearby places where you can purchase some.
A boat slip at East Port Marina is not included with the home rental. If you’d like to reserve one during your stay, please contact East Port Marina directly.
Boat trailer parking is not available at the house due to its elevated location on a hill. East Port Marina offers ample trailer storage—just give them a call to make arrangements.
The driveway to the house is a gravel hill. Because of the elevation, we recommend bringing a vehicle with higher ground clearance for easier access.
One of the best perks of this home is its unbeatable location right next to East Port Marina—no need to worry about parking during the busy season, just walk down the hill and you’re there!
The marina also features a lakeside restaurant, a store with fishing and lake supplies, and rentals for boats, kayaks, and water toys. We highly recommend checking it out for all your watersport and fishing needs!

Couldn’t get into the house till 5 o’clock had to wait for them to say it was good to get into the house, because “someone was there before us” then told me check out was @10 when the cleaning manual said 11 as well as a few other things in the house.Mold on the ceiling and when I said something about it they said there should not be any mold anymore Also bought our own food to grill out only to not have any propane, when I asked them where to get more or what they wanted me to do, it took a few hours to respond to tell me they had to check with the other owner then never got back with me, thankfully a neighbor had a tank they let us borrow. Besides that it was a good stay, the marina is walking distance. Recommend if you have a boat to call and rent a slip for however long you are there! The marina even has trailer parking for you if you rent a slip, very nice community overall

Great home overlooking Dale Hollow Lake. Very close to East Port Marina which has just been remodeled and offered rental docks, food, drinks and music! The owners included many nice extras - snacks, paper goods, and linens. We would highly recommend!

We all enjoyed our stay. House was clean and well furnished. View from the porch is really nice and right on the lake. Only downside was nothing is close. Nearest grocery store was 40 minutes away. Marina next door was under construction, but they were open and bringing things back into order. All in all, we would and probably will be back.
