About this apartment rental
Enjoy nature while staying in a quiet 1 bedroom attached suite. It includes a full kitchen with one bathroom, 1 king bed plus a queen futon and a dedicated workspace that is great for remote workers.
The unit is set on a 75 acre horse property with it's own trail system perfect for easy nature strolls or trail rides. We have up to 20 horses on the property. You might even notice a few outside your front window!
It's set back in the woods about a third of a mile, however it is a convenient location close to Amherst, Hampshire, UMass, Smith and Mt. Holyoke.

There is a lovely gazebo and front lawn area with a bistro set and Adirondack chairs to relax in while taking in the sunrise (if you choose) while overlooking the horse pasture in the front yard.
We have a 20 stall horse barn that you're welcome to give yourself a self-guided tour of. Be sure to say hello to my wife if you see her in the barn! She also offers optional horsemanship lessons if you are interested.
Additionally there is a trail system on our property that connects with adjacent trails perfect for exploring.

Brent was great with our questions and the property was so peaceful and beautiful scenery. Brent kept up with the nearly 2ft of snow that fell in 24 hours and had us out and about quickly. Thank you.

Welcoming comfortable and quiet

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and charming home in the woods while visiting our son at UMass Amherst and celebrating my wife’s birthday. The property is serene and beautifully maintained, with horses grazing just outside the windows — a truly calming and memorable experience. We also enjoyed visits from the friendly dogs and cat who live on the property, which added to the welcoming, homey atmosphere.
The house itself was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed — including air conditioning, cozy beds and futons, a Roku TV, and games for the whole family. The nearby gazebo was a perfect spot to unwind, take in the quiet, and watch the horses. It's a short and scenic drive to Amherst, with nearby conveniences like Stop & Shop, Starbucks, and Dunkin’ Donuts.
As an added bonus, horsemanship, meditation, and yoga sessions are offered, and we hope to perhaps take advantage of these offerings on a future stay.
If you're looking to unplug and relax in a beautiful, animal-friendly setting with a gracious host like Brent, this place is truly a gem. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

What a wonderful place! We were very comfortable and it was so cool to have the horses right outside our window. I got to chat with the host too and he was so nice. I'm bummed we didn't have time to take advantage of the other offerings on location like the yoga and the trails. Next time!
