The property is in an excellent location, ideal for visiting multiple locations Gaetano and Christina were incredibly attentive and considerate: knowing that we were celebrating a birthday, he left us a delicious ice cream cake as a welcome surprise, a splendid gesture! Responses to messages have always been immediate. Also, when we were accidentally locked out, the host immediately intervened to help us. Note of merit for the pool: a real paradise, super refreshing after a whole day spent touring. We will definitely be back!

Zeer mooi huis, net opgeknapt. De inrichting is erg netjes en je hebt een grote leef keuken, wat erg fijn is. De tuin en zwembad zijn erg mooi en heerlijk om in te verblijven. Echt een aanrader.
Er heerste een rupsenplaag. Iets waar de eigenaar ook niets aan kon doen. Ze hadden wel wat meer initiatief mogen nemen om dit dagelijks te bestrijden.
Verder nog twee minpuntjes:
- de douchekop in een van de badkamers kan niet opgehangen worden.
- In een van de slaapkamers kraakt het bed heel erg.

Our stay at Rifugio del Sole was outstanding. Our hosts Cristina and Gaetano were warm, welcoming and made us feel right at home. They met us to collect the keys and show us around. They were very responsive and met any of our requests with a smile. Everything was well organised and easily accessible. The property itself is beautiful!! The inside is eclectically decorated with many things unique to Sicily, we enjoyed looking around at everything. There are many places to relax and soak in the sun on the property, we loved the hammock, the pool loungers and the outdoor egg chair! The outdoor dining setting is large and undercover, we ate outside for all of our meals. The appliances were all SMEG and of great quality and easy to use. We loved the pool, it was great for our two kids (3.5yo and 9mo). The beds were all very comfortable, water pressure was great, the kids enjoyed the massive spa bath!! Wifi was also excellent. We also walked into Noto centre. Although the walk over the bridge looks a bit sketchy (no footpath) we did this with the 3.5yo walking and the 9mo in the pram. The drivers all moved over and we felt quite safe.
We cannot fault Rifugio del Sole, our only wish is that we had a few extra days to soak in the property.
