Good location but the apartment is a little tired

The location was perfect for us as we were catching the ferry to Corsica. It is a relatively short walk - much shorter than Google suggests. Very convenient for exploring Little Venice and the main sights.

The host was very difficult to get hold of and we ended up using WhatsApp the night before we travelled. This caused us anxiety as we do not speak Italian and were expecting to arrive late at night. Even Booking.Com got back to us apologising. A simple standard message sent using the booking.com temlate messaging would have let us know what to expect, e.g. Check-in details will be provided at midday on your day of arrival after you have filled in the registration details via a link to be sent to you. He did send us the code separately which was fortunate as the link was not in the safe list of domains held for this property by booking and had been removed. We also had a query during our stay to which he never responded. The property was warm even in late September but there was a fan which we found hidden in the wardrobe and there was a bit of a smell from the drains which went once you opened the windows. The property is a bit tired and in need of some maintenance. The wardrobe door does not slide easily - it has come off its runners. The shutter is still missing from one of the front windows which would be a concern if someone was using the sofa bed. There is an almost continuously dripping tap in the bathroom Only one of the 4 sockets by the bed worked - this was probably due to mice in the wall - their scratching was clearly audible one night. It would be nice to have a mug or large cup from which to drink hot drinks. An espresso cup is too small for a tea or hot chocolate. A kettle would have been useful. As others have observed the sofa is oddly shaped and and a bit uncomfortable.

Perfect for our very limited time we needed to sleep over to catch the early ferry which was walking distance to port.

Very hot ! No air-conditioner. Communication for check in was extremely difficult. Struggled to get self check in details.

Terrible

The property did not have AC. It’s basic thing. When I contacted the owner, they replied it was not mentioned that we had AC. So I asked about the Fan which was mentioned in the description. He ignored my message. Besides the description says it was beachfront which is not the case. I originally booked it because I had an important guest. My guest was angry because it was so hot inside and booked a hotel.

Nice place very close to the port

Flexible self check-in. Room was very clean and well equiped. Were quite big actually. We stayed for one night only, before we took the ferry next morning. Very close to the port. Parking is just opposite of the location. Free between 8pm and 8am, but had to pay during the day.

Haven't seen an aircon, but luckily we managed without it with opening all windows. But could be an issue for some. But this is minor thing, not a real issue.

Very spacious, stylish apartment. Modern furniture and equipment. Amazing half-timbered ceiling. We wish that we could stay longer than just one night. Parking a few metres from apartment (free at night). Bistrot and restaurants right next to the apartment. We appreciated the evening walk through the city.

Scarsa attenzione dell’host nei nostri confronti . Difficile mettersi in contatto per eventuali segnalazioni. Sulla porta d’ingresso nessuna insegna relativa al l’appartamento, ci abbiamo impiegato un po’ per capire dove entrare e al telefono l’host non ha risposto. Appena entrati abbiamo sentito un forte odore fastidioso che pensavamo fosse dovuto ai profumatori d’ambiente collocati a più prese nell’appartamento. Tolti i profumatori si è evidenziato un odore continuo come di pattumiere che ci ha tolto anche il sonno . Altra cosa, il forno a microonde che doveva esserci secondo il foglio della prenotazione e mancava, così come le tazze per la colazione.

Avoir un accueil, c'est plus formel, plus rassurant. Un numéro de téléphone mais personne décroche, un manque de respect total. Appartamento grande e molto pulito. Buona posizione se si deve prendere traghetto.

Caldo e non c’era il ventilatore indicato tra i servizi della struttura. Impossibile dormire con le finestre aperte a causa dei rumori. Uno degli scuri era smontato. Del parcheggio privato gratuito non è stato dato sapere. Ho provato a contattare due volte la struttura senza successo e non sono stata richiamata. Anche per messaggio via booking nessuna risposta.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Sehr schöne, saubere und große Ferienwohnung. Unmittelbare Nähe zum Hafen. Ein sehr gutes Restaurant daneben. Dort gehen auch die Einheimischen hin. 1 weiteres Fischrestaurant daneben.

Leider keine Klimaanlage. Tipp: 2 Ventilatoren hätten viel geholfen. Bitte noch nachrüsten.

Perfekte Unterkunft vor Fährfahrt

Super Lage direkt am Fährhafen, um nach Bastia auf Korsika zu fahren. Außerdem kann der Startpunkt des Hop on Hop off Buses in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreicht werden und ein wunderbares Fischrestaurant ist auch direkt nebendran. Für 1-2 Nächte vor der Überfahrt würden wir die Unterkunft immer wieder buchen.

Leider kein Aufzug. Die Wohnung war nicht wie angekündigt um 15 Uhr bezugsfertig. Wurde aber alles schnell geregelt.

Umkompliziertes Buchen, Lage, großen Räumlichkeiten und Sauberkeit

Leider ging im gesamten Apartment keine Heizung, wodurch es wirklich kalt war. Auf Nachfrage, ob wir dies ändern könnten, wurde nur kurz und knapp geantwortet und leider war es trotzdem nicht möglich, diese zum laufen zu bringen. Das WLAN ging nur im Wohnzimmer. Der Herd und andere elektronische Werkzeuge verursachten mehrmals einen Kurzschluss, was uns nicht ermöglichte, diese zu nutzen. Leider sind die Wände sehr dünn und man hört sehr viel von den Nachbarn (Klospülung, etc.)

L’accoglienza, ho provato a chiamare il numero di riferimento per il check-in ma non sono stato richiamato e mi facevano cadere la linea, potevano scrivermi un messaggio o un wup, ma niente. Alla fine ho contattato io Booking e solo dopo qualche ora mi è arrivato l’info per il check in
