The lodge was absolutely beautiful and luxurious as well as being very clean. Being surrounded by nature was a bonus.

Hospitality was top tier. The little details with snacks and a stocked fridge made our stay better than we expected. You can tell that Peter and Susan thought of everything to ensure all guests are comfortable.

The entire cabin, the gorgeous views over the fireplace onto the waterfall and the thoughtful little notes, homegrown nuts, blankets, candles and complimentary food and snacks were just the beginning.

My partner and I absolutely LOVED our three night stay here!! The complimentary roses and note were a very sweet surprise, the way the blankets, toiletries, and kitchenware were organised was really really lovely, and of course the place itself was just amazing! The area was very lovely and it was very relaxing hearing the quiet splashes of the waterfall while cosied in bed with the fireplace lit. The bathtub was ever larger than expected which made for a very relaxing bath - the provided bubble bath liquid and magnesium bath salts were also another pleasant surprise that we took full advantage of! The scents of the shower/bath gels, shampoo, and conditioner were also pleasant (grapefruit and coconut, I believe). We went to the recommended restaurant nearby, Potager, and it was a very quick drive, and the food and service was fantastic. The place provided a beautiful custom wooden binder that detailed the place’s history and places nearby for whatever needs we had - it was a really nice read. The bed and couch were very comfortable, the firepit down the hill near the waterfall was very lovely to roast our complimentary marshmallows on, and the place was overall very tidy and homey. Peter and Susan were very easy to contact and were very very kind. We didn’t need to, but they offer to refill the ethanol fireplace if it ever runs out, which is very sweet. We will definitely be coming back!!

The only concerns we may have is that the living room AC spat out some specks of dust (?) when on cold. Though, since we stayed in the winter, it didn’t really impact our stay much.
