The George Washington on Mt Washington

Beautiful apartment with full amenities! Bed was comfortable, the shower had great pressure and plenty of towels were provided. Kitchen had everything you could’ve possibly needed, and the overall theme of the place is one of a kind. The views were amazing, that’s always a huge plus for Pittsburgh! Parking was a bit hard to find and to get into, but that’s to be expected with street parking. Great stay overall!

Loved the location: The view, the neighborhood, and the proximity to the top station of the Monongahela Incline were fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Holly's mother, Renee, by chance, and hearing all about the transformation the neighborhood has undergone in the 45 years they've owned this property. The fun and funky decor inside the apartment is as charming as the various names for each apartment that we could see on our way up the stairs to the apartment door. Great restaurants, bakery, and grocery store all within easy walking distance were a massive plus.

Parking is a tiny bit tricky, because everything is hills, but it's wonderful to have, and Holly worked with us very smoothly to get the permit at the right time when we were arriving very late at night. I've already notified Holly about the need to stock tea, coffee, and sugar in the canisters and the need for tissues, and she seemed very receptive.

Very well maintained, perfect location, walkable to many things, the view of the city from the window and the front of the building is beautiful

The stairs from the bottom floor to the apartment are scary, they’re just steep and old.

+ Easy Check-In + Super cosy furniture / furnishings, it feels a bit like being at home at grandma's place + Quite spacious! + The TV has internet access + The kitchen is quite well equipped + The cable car runs continuously, so very easy to go to downtown (be aware you must pay the local buses in cash!)

- The sink in the bathroom could be renewed in the near future - I left a lighter there, otherwise you will not be able to use the gas stove
