The location was fine and although breakfast wasn't included there was a cafe just 5 minutes away

The room is in a quiet neighborhood, walkable to the city center (a marathon prevented us from using public transportation that day). The room was spacious enough and the bed comfortable. There was a well equipped shared kitchen to be freely used. Everything was bare minimum. I don’t get the prices in this city honestly!!
We went all around the Irish coasts but this place was the most expensive and still with the least quality service. The rooms were not clean (there were suspicious spots on the sheets) and hairs all over the shared bathroom. People used the shared bathroom as if it was their own, leaving their stuff everywhere so no one else had any room left. Rules should be enforced for a more comfortable shared environment. It is already a nuisance to climb a floor for the bathroom.
The kitchen was right next to our room, which is uncomfortable in the morning when other guests come down. The hosts were not responsive; when they demanded a 10 am checkout and we asked if there was any flexibility in this regard, they simply did not answer.
This was the last time we opted for the “cheaper” option in the city.
