I am very happy with my stay in this room; everything was exactly as described. The area is very quiet and close to beautiful beaches, with a gas station and shops nearby. I highly recommend this room.

Cost and location.

There should be more affordable places to stay in Newquay such as this but there aren't. Holidays are too expensive now for British people.

Just two miles from the beach I chose to visit. Friendly welcome by host, and useful breakfast set up in cupboard in bedroom - with kettle, toaster and a small fridge (I couldn't make the coffee machine work). Parking outside property. Fuel and supermarket round the corner.

Very low bed, about 30cms off the floor, and mattress uncomfortable. Bathroom very dated and needs upgrading. Internal doors all very noisy, hinges need attention or oiling. This was a budget stay in a private family home, with shared bathroom, in an old housing estate, so a good price for two people, less so for one person. The bedroom would benefit from a sink rather than washing crockery in the shared bathroom.
