Location. Clean.

Loud rooster next door wakes you up very early and keeps going all morning - bring earplugs if you're noise sensitive. Kitchen small and not stocked (no salt or pepper for example). Two levels with bedroom upstairs and quite a steep stairs up. No parking so could be hard to find parking in busy season.

I appreciated the roominess of the apartment and the spacious porch with comfortable outdoor seating. I also liked the clean kitchen and appliances. The couch and chair were comfortable, and the lighting was good. The stairs to the bedroom were well lit with a good finish on them. Bathrooms on both floors were a plus. The A/C on each floor was quiet and worked well for both heat and air-conditioning.

When I went to use the toaster the electrical outlets failed. The toaster may have a short in it. I made coffee on a small table in the living room and skipped toast. They did fix it later that day when I reported it. The loud roosters will wake you but that is not unusual in Key West.

Property was clean, great location and well appointed. The apartment was bright with a lot of natural light. The two balconies were nice. The bath and a half were great. New finishes were appreciated.

A lot of stairs. It would be easier if you had little baggage but we had two fairly large suitcases and we are 70 and 77 years of age. Doable but a bit of a challenge.
