Newly Renovated Cottage 150m from Waterfront

Lovely location. Nice sized property.

Tea/coffee cups were heavily stained and looked dirty. I soaked them in the sink overnight and they cleaned up well. Non-stick cooking pans would be preferable. Kindling, fire lighters and old paper would be useful for lighting the fire pit and/or stove in the lounge. A lot of the furniture and window cills had a lot of surface dust. Television would be easier to navigate if it was simply plugged into an aerial rather than having to navigate apps and log in to accounts all the time. Bathroom would benefit from some nice products being provided.

We asked specifically for logs for the fire for 2 nights and were told they would supply them. There weren’t any when we arrived - we found some outside that were damp and wouldn’t burn, we were told to buy some and they reimbursed us. The sofa is very low and uncomfortable and could really do with updating and the 2 armchairs aren’t comfortable either. None of the bedrooms have hanging facilities- a hanging rail in each would be great. The larger bedroom has a super king bed (2 singles put together) but the duvet is a king size so only just covers the bed, not ideal if cold at night. The tv didn’t have any instructions and we couldn’t get terrestrial tv BBC1 ITV etc. The decor is very eclectic nothing matches but the cottage was very clean and we enjoyed our stay.

lOCATION CLOSE TO THE COAST AND VILLAGE WAS EXCELLENT.

The property was advertised on booking.com as having 2 bathrooms. This is incorrect, as it has 1 bathroom and 1 cloakroom.

Lovely home with everything we needed to cook etc and feel at home.

Several of the rugs slip on the wooden floors - they need to be more secure
