The True Heart of Uraidla Villa

The property was absolutely gorgeous. The property was very well serviced and had every creature comfort. We were there in the cooler months and it was well equipped with a fire heater, ducted heating and electric blankets. The outside gardens were just beautiful with the spring bulbs just starting to bloom early. There was a fabulous pub across the road where you could get dinner and just beside it a bakery that sold a variety of breakfast and lunch options. It was a short drive to scenic Handoff and only a 35 min drive to the airport. I cannot fault our beautiful hosts and check in and out was so easy and convenient. I would absolutely recommend this venue to others.

I am hard pressed to choose anything I didn’t like except that public transport options to the venue are limited. This did not pose a problem for us as we had our own transport so I would suggest hiring a car if travelling by plane.

Gorgeous historic property in an idyllic setting in the Adelaide Hills. Spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. Very comfortable. Proximity to Uraidla Pub which is one of the best in the area!

Lack of shops for basic supplies in Uraidla (the so called 'convenience' store is poor). Traffic noise from road out the front

Lovely old house with oodles of charm. Located in a beautiful part of the hills. Wine, chocolates , sour dough on arrival.

Small negative, no where to hang towels to dry, when cold and wet.
