The former artists’ village of Dangast—a district of Varel in the southern region of the Jadebusen—is easily accessible. It enjoys a mild, invigorating climate year-round, which is beneficial to your health. Oldenburg to the south and Wilhelmshaven to the north offer interesting places to visit. In the village itself, you can enjoy coffee and rhubarb cake at the iconic “Altes Kurhaus” café while taking in the view of the Jadebusen, or book excursions aboard the “Jantje” to the seal colonies. Our house, the “Perlmuschel”—complete with a sauna—is located near the beach and looks forward to welcoming its guests.



Perlmuschel Vacation Home:

The Perlmuschel vacation home at Danksteder Str. 23 B, with a parking space right in front of the entrance, is ideal for up to eight people. From the entryway, which features a guest restroom and the first shower room, you’ll find the living room to your left, with access to the terrace. Here in the living/dining area, you’ll be greeted by a freshly renovated, bright, and inviting space. The kitchenette is fully equipped with all the utensils you need for a relaxing cooking experience. On the first floor, there are three bedrooms—two with pull-out tandem beds and one with a double bed—each furnished with closets. The two shower rooms are also located on this level. Up in the attic, there is another bedroom with a double bed. The separate utility room houses a washer and dryer. Relax in the beautiful garden and enjoy the sauna for your exclusive use.



Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to midnight, and check-out from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
