The spacious, renovated farmhouse with a thatched roof is situated on the eastern shore of Lake Ratzeburg in the Schaalsee Nature Park, between Ratzeburg and Lübeck. The property includes the main house with its historic entry hall, the sauna house, and a small thatched shed. From the four terraces, you can look out over the green, 5-hectare meadow to a natural forest. All around lies a vast, endless landscape.
The main house offers plenty of space and comfort: 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a formal entry hall, a large living room with a pool table, and several rooms perfect for relaxing. The stylish decor, combining modern interiors with restored furniture, underscores the property’s unique charm. Fully equipped kitchen, multiple TVs, SONOS sound system, and high-speed internet. Additional beds for 2–4 people are available in the sauna house.
The small village of Hoheleuchte is part of the municipality of Römnitz in the Duchy of Lauenburg and is situated on the eastern shore of Lake Ratzeburg. The “Green Belt” (formerly the zone border) begins here as what has since become a unique natural paradise. From here, you can set out on a variety of hiking and biking tours to Mecklenburg or the Lauenburg region. In the summer, Lake Ratzeburg invites you to take a dip in its refreshing waters at various swimming spots. Ratzeburg, Wismar, the Hanseatic city of Lübeck, and the Baltic Sea coast offer many cultural attractions and sights.
