High Low Cabin is located in The Lodges at Eagles Nest exclusive gated community, only a seven (7) minute drive from the Lodge to beautiful downtown Banner Elk and restaurants. Situated high on a large parcel of land, it affords privacy and stretching mountain views. Eagles Nest is a luxury gated community, with guest access to many family friendly amenities! Just outside of Banner Elk and beside Beech Mountain, this house is convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Valle Crucis, and Watauga Lake. Both Elk River and the Watauga River are also nearby.
With a huge natural stone fireplace, high vaulted ceilings, and fine interior finishes, High Low Cabin will be an unforgettable destination for any occasion. Elegant and sophisticated, yet warm and comfortable, it is the perfect place to relax. Enjoy the large Great Room with gas log fireplace and open kitchen, the spacious deck with covered outdoor living space and gas grill, and the loft with comfy seating, a game table and work desk. Every room is decorated with care and style. This home offers a main floor king suite, along with a queen bedroom and bunk room upstairs, and a twin sleeper sofa in the open loft area. The well-equipped kitchen will suit your needs for preparing meals for a full house.
The Lodges at Eagles Nest offers premier community amenities and nature-based activities appealing to all ages and interests. The rental rate includes an amenity fee that grants access to all available guest amenities. Loved how you could see deer, rabbits, and other animals around community. The whole are has a lot of potential but we arrived on first day of season, so things were not quite open. Great access to the self serve dollar general inside community. The only negative is there is a lot of construction and for some reason water in house started coming out coppery and brown.halfway thru,

The house was perfect for our needs! We really enjoyed the gas fireplace and tv on the back porch. Great way to watch college football! The views were incredible, especially in the fall with all the colorful leaves. The amenities in the community are so abundant that we spent a whole day just exploring the neighborhood.

My sisters and I gifted a family weekend for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and the house and location couldn't have been better. The property and amenities (winery and concert venue) were magnificent. We will return without a doubt.
