PIETRABIANCA is a luxury apartment located in Carmiano’s picturesque historic center, built entirely of Lecce stone and tuff in harmony with the environment and local traditions.
It is situated halfway between the town and the sea, between history and idyllic beaches.
Every detail, every carving, every piece of furniture, and every corner has been carefully designed to evoke feelings of wonder and relaxation, the ideal place for an unforgettable stay. Yet, while the building’s age initially makes it feel like a step back in time, the moment you step inside, the entirely modern furnishings transport you straight into the future.

The apartment blends seamlessly into the Carmiano setting thanks to its distinctive, innovative design, which successfully combines past and present in a space that is both ancient and modern. It is located in a courtyard called Largo San Francesco.
The apartment is located on the first floor, accessed via a staircase made entirely of Lecce stone, which leads to a beautiful furnished terrace overlooking the heart of the historic center—the perfect spot to enjoy stunning sunsets and spend afternoons and evenings in total relaxation. Here you’ll find a storage room equipped with a laundry area featuring a sink and washing machine.
The apartment features a spacious living area with an exposed star-vaulted ceiling typical of the region, along with a comfortable kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, oven, and induction cooktop.
The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary utensils suitable for the induction cooktop. Any utensils brought from outside may not be compatible. There is also a comfortable double sofa bed and a flat-screen TV. From the living area, a beautiful passageway with a barrel vault illuminated from below leads to the bedroom. In this hallway, there is a comfortable desk made entirely of Leccese stone and tuff blocks, as well as an open-shelf cabinet repurposed from a former fireplace. There is also a double bedroom and a very large bathroom with a floor-level shower. This apartment is characterized by very warm tones that evoke tradition, as can be seen in the painting above the sofa—which resembles the rose window of Santa Croce—and in the light installation in the bedroom, which depicts a lotus flower characteristic of the area. Furthermore, you can see how the designers sought to preserve the building’s historic character by transforming a former fireplace into a coat closet and using Lecce stone to create a beautiful backlit mirror in the bathroom.
