We had a wonderful week in this spacious house. The view on the mountains is very nice. In the house you will find everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The owners, who live in the same building, are very kind and helpfull and can give you a lot of information about the area. Very good place to make nice trips in the beautiful Berchtesgadener Land, without having to travel a lot.

Family weindl is extremely nice and they exceed your expectations. The apartment is very well equipped and everything is thought of. Amazing view of the watzman .We had a great time there and will definitely come back.

The apartment is a wonderful, comfortable home from home. Exceptionally well appointed and clean, with absolutely every thing on hand for all day to day needs. The sleeping provisions are the most comfortable we have had, with excellent quality furnishings. It was nice to have a separate shower room to the toilet. the kitchen has everything you could think to need to use and the bathroom the best towels ever. The living room is extremely comfortable and the outside seating comes with the most amazing panoramic view of the mountains we have come to climb. The garden is beautifully tended, providing the most relaxing setting at the end of a hard day's hiking. The location is ideally place for all the town's facilities. There has not been one single thing that we needed, every little thing has been well thought through and catered for. The owners could not be more helpful and concerned that your stay is as comfortable as they can help to make it and are keen that you certainly make the most of your time in the beautiful part of the world that they are so fortunate to inhabit. Having been to this area several times, we could not more highly recommend this apartment for all that it offers .

Our family of four greatly enjoyed our recent stay at the Ferienwohnung Weindl in Berchtesgaden. I will first start with small negatives which admittedly are nit-picking a bit. The area is on a roundabout that is a bit busy at times and the parking is on the street. However, we never really found this to be much of an issue as close parking was always available and we did stop in front of the Wendl driveway for quick drop-off or pick-up as needed. The only other slight negative was the view on balcony was partially obscured but it is a beautiful view and although the balcony is a little on the narrow side we greatly enjoyed sitting out there in the evening. As for positives, which far outweigh negatives, the family is very welcoming and we wish we had more time to get to know them a bit better as we had an ambitious touring schedule. Their tips and suggestions were spot on and aided in our family's enjoyment. The location is very close to town and provides easy access to our preferred morning town strolls as well as short car rides to all the main area attractions (Obersalzberg/Koenigsee/salt mines/spa etc all 5-10 min drives). From a historical perspective staying literally right across the street from where the Berchtesgadener Hof was (now the museum Haus de Berge) is interesting for a history nut like myself. The Berchtesgaden area offers a multitude of cultural, historical and natural things to do and see and the Haus Weindl was a great place from which to experience those items. We would certainly recommend a stay and would do so again ourselves. Beebe family

This apartment is the closest to home in quality of fittings and cleanness, with all the comforts you need for a holiday stay. In 12 years of staying in German holiday apartments this is the best yet.

A fabulous place to stay and the owners are so friendly. We are a family of 4 that stayed here as a base for our skiing/snowboarding holiday over the New Year 2013/14. The pictures on the website do not do this place justice - it is great. So clean and everything that you could ever need. We honestly thought we were the first people to stay here. It has lovely views from the balcony and is only a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of Berchtesgaden. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners - very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this apartment to anybody - we had a fantastic holiday!

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in early September 2013 and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The apartment was very spacious and immaculate. It had everything we needed and the bed was nice and comfy. There are two balconies, one off the kitchen and one of the living room, that directly face the Berchtesgaden mountains. You cannot beat the location of this apartment between the mountain views and the easy access to the old town and train/bus station - both accessible by foot in approx 10 mins. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. They live in the apartment upstairs and we felt as though we were staying with family. They checked in to make sure everything was OK, but also gave us our privacy. I would stay here again and recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, clean, safe and picturesque place to stay.
