Welcome to Holly Cottage at Shunpike Pond where Williamsburg meets Cape May. The cottage gets it's name from the huge holly tree in the front yard. Holly Cottage overlooks the famous birding destination "Shunpike Pond." A park like setting with bird views for your enjoyment. The owners love of Williamsburg shows with touches of antiques blended with coastal Cape May seashore decor. A very comfortable 'pet friendly' home. where memories will be made. The cottage features 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds... NEW FOR SPRING 2025 is "The Little Birds Nest" a 2nd floor kids room featuring 2 twin beds, dormer ceilings, laminate floors and a 1/2 bath. The Bonus Room on the 2nd floor is a tiny room with a table for working from home with your laptop or just another place for kids to play board games...First floor new bathroom with a large shower with tiled floors is bright and clean. The kitchen is set up for ease, light bright and airy with everything you need. The dining and living room is where Williamsburg meets Cape May with antiques and charm but very livable. The front porch is a great place to relax and read a book or sip some tea and sit a spell. The step down TV room is the bird room where you can enjoy TV, pond views and a gas fireplace for off season just a nice comfortable living space with sliding doors to the back deck area. Original hardwood floors, oriental carpets, central air add to the charm of the home. Holly Cottage is centrally located to all Cape May has to offer. Washington Street Mall and the downtown area....5 minutes to the beaches in town, Willow Creek Winery & Beach Plum Farm is a bike ride away. Higbee Beach is literally around the corner. The state park is a gem with the lighthouse, free parking and free beach, Sunset Gift shop has the NEW Fish House restaurant is 5 minutes by car ...The cottage is pet friendly, sleeps 6 includes blankets and pillows. House is much larger than it looks! We had a great stay at Holly Cottage. A quaint cottage with plenty of room for me, my husband, and parents. Drivable to the beach, “downtown” Cape May, along with wineries and anything else you may want to visit in Cape May. The beds were comfy, and there was plenty of space for all of us. We also enjoyed the back patio and watching the geese in the pond. Highly recommend a stay here!

Surprisingly big house with plenty of space to spread out. Convenient to Higbee Beach and area farms. Pet friendly which is important to us.

We brought my dad to Cape May for a few days and stayed here. The location is fantastic and it is such a great house.
