This is a very nice stone farmhouse with very large rooms. It is several miles from Volterra in a very isolated location. It is beautifully decorated.
It is at the end of a one lane road over a mile long.
I have a few suggestions:
The property is listed on VRBO but the owner requested that I make payment through Novasol. I reluctantly did. Novasol was disappointing. I did not receive the actual location or owner contact information until less than two weeks before the trip even though I had paid in full long before that. Novasols customer service hours are very limited and they did not answer during those hours. I very nearly booked another property and filed a dispute over the money I had paid. I will never again book a property that asks for payment in this way.
The parking area is very uneven and it can be difficult to turn around. The lamp posts and planters are lovely but the owner should remove one or two to make it easier to turn around.
