Makin' Memories is the perfect vacation home for those who love the beauty of the beach and the convenience of the canal/bay access. It is a treasure that will call you back year after year.
Our vacation home is located in the peaceful community of Sandbridge Beach - Virginia Beach, Virginia. Only a short walking distance to the ocean. This home is ideal for larger groups looking for plenty of room to come together when needed and spread out as well. Perfect getaway after you have been quarantined at home with high-speed internet, so no interruption of school or work.
Accommodations: Fully furnished Beach House on Back Bay, 8+ Bedrooms (Sleeps up to 27 guests), 5-1/2 Baths, Full Kitchen with granite counter tops and new appliances throughout, tastefully decorated throughout in a Coastal theme. with comfort in mind.
We have everything you are looking for in a vacation home, here are some of our guest’s favorite things about our home:
• Walking distance to the ocean and features a 70' dock and a boat ramp, ideal for small to mid-size boats
• Open concept floor plans that are perfect for groups and families
• Great amenities with plenty of TVs, a nice game room and a relaxing hot tub!!
• Kayaks and paddleboards to explore the bay
• Chairs and a fire pit by the bay to enjoy the evening views
The first floor of this stylish home contains a large recreation area complete with a video arcade, granite bar, bar stools, a large HDTV, and pool table. This recreation area overlooks a beautiful private swimming pool and an enclosed back porch where there is an inviting hot tub. There are also four comfortable bedrooms (1 room with queen & full beds, 1 room with a queen bed and twin-over-full bunk bed, 1 room with queen bed and full-over-full bunk beds and 1 room with a queen bed and a twin-over-twin bunk bed) with flat screen televisions with cable.
The second floor has wide open spaces that add to that light and bright airy feel that a house on the Bay should have. There are two large living room areas for your group to relax and gather. The large, well-stocked, kitchen is complete with two dishwashers that make cleaning up a breeze after cooking that large family meal. All appliances and furniture throughout the home are newer. The custom dining room tables have plenty of chairs for the family and offers a great place to play a board game or a game of cards. There are two bedrooms on this level - one king bedroom and one queen bedroom, both with private full baths. It also has private deck access overlooking the pool with a fantastic view of the bay. You can also enjoy the large grill, perfect for a barbeque.
The top level of the home contains another gathering area with a sleeper sofa as well as a king bedroom with a twin-size trundle bed. There is a private bathroom off this bedroom with a Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and fireplace. Included in this area is a private deck/balcony.
This is an all-inclusive property rental that includes everything you need to make your vacation experience a success. All linens and towels are included so that all you need to do is show up with those flip flops on and a smile on your face. Family members stated how clean and how well stock the house was and how huge it was. Some items we brought ourselves and there was no need to bring them because the house had them like waffle griddles; servers (things that you put the tin pans in). Property Manager, Kevin was very responsive.

Great property for large groups. Definitely enjoyed the amenities, especially in Winter for all of the games, pool table, etc. Gave the pool a five but only because we had to rate it since it was winter we did not have access.

The property was an excellent choice to get together with family. There were so many amenities at the property that we didn’t have ti leave to enjoy the area.

Communal areas of the kitchen dining room and family room were fine. Second floor, bedrooms and baths were barely adequate . Ground floor, bedrooms, and baths need major updating. Pool and outdoor play area were excellent. View and setting were outstanding.Kitchen sink needed to be unclogged, toaster oven did not work, bath room sink off the kitchen drained excessively slow, one of the dryers made a loud noise when running.
