Centrally located historic bungalow, minutes from downtown and Cal Poly Humboldt

This is our third stay at this wonderful property and we were very pleased. The large living, light filled living room is perfect for coffee and relaxed evening conversation by the fire. The kitchen is functional and perfect for gathering and enjoying. There is a lot of space to spread out, 2 full bathrooms and outdoor space. This is our favorite when visiting our Cal Poly kid and we’ll be back!

We came for a few few nights to take our teens on a tour of the Cal Poly Humboldt campus, and wanted to stay in the downtown area. If you are looking for a classic bungalow with fun decor, this is the place for you. The home is quite spacious with a big, comfy living room. The queen bedrooms have plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the location, especially being able to walk to the awesome Wildberries Market for morning pastry and coffee, as well as any provisions we needed. Everything was great, so we had no need to contact the owners except for one quick question about recycling. They got back to us right away. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay and will look to book there again the next time we are in town.

Great house - was a lot roomier than the pictures portray. The couches & beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever had at a vacation rental.

Nice home has had some nice work done and nice touches. needs work. No screens. Lot of windows painted closed. Only 4 cups, 3 mugs. No bowls for eating, just large serving bowls. A few plates. But stocked with cookware. Check if dishes before you go if you plan to cook. We had to give up on that. Not sure they use a cleaning service as floors, kitchen and bathrooms need it. Bedding was clean. Musty smell and noisy street. Lots of cars. Will impact sleep if noise bothers you.
