Only 6 min walking till underground Great Portland Street, 15 min by foot till Madame Tussauds. Quiet area, with some small groceries store nearby.

The shower was spraying outside the curtain and there was no mat. It is not a big deal, but it can be improved.

Location, kitchen facilities

We stayed here expecting the “five-star experience” that was advertised, and while there were some positives, the overall experience fell short of that claim. On the plus side, the flat is spacious and in a good location with easy access to transport links. The kitchen is well equipped, and the instructions for accessing the building were clear and straightforward, which made arrival smooth. However, there were several issues that impacted our stay. Cleanliness was inconsistent—areas such as the skirting boards, bathroom, and kitchen did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned, and the floors felt grubby. Dusting also seemed to have been overlooked in places. The property itself feels like it would benefit from some upgrading and refurbishment, as parts of it appear tired. There were also some functional issues: the curtains did not fit properly and the rails felt unstable, and the toilet flush was not working well. Overall, the accommodation felt quite basic and did not match the “five-star” standard advertised. In summary, while the property has good potential due to its size and location, it currently does not justify the cost or the expectations set. We would rate our stay around 5 out of 10.
