Travellers Retreat Bayview

The room was bright and airy with a sense of space. Beautifully presented - everything was spotless and well thought out to make our stay very comfortable. There is a small bar fridge, microwave and crockery which was perfect for what we needed. The continental breakfast was delicious and the Dorothy our host, made sure we were wanting for nothing. Such a fabulous little getaway for the two of us, it was absolutely perfect! Close walking distance to cafes and lovely water views whilst in a quiet area. Enjoyed the birdlife around us as well. We look forward to returning one day. Highly recommended.

Lovely, leafy ambience and stylish decor. Thoughtfully provisioned with breakfast options, teas and pod coffee. Close to nature, shops, restaurants and waterways.

The apartment is situated beneath the host’s house, so one hears the odd footfall and the main road nearby can be a little noisy at times.

The breakfast and fruit was good. More coffee caps would be better.

A shower curtain to prevent water from shower drenching the bathroom floor. The loud walking above every late at night. the talking we heard quite clearing from hosts.
