Gemütliche Wohnung nahe Kurpark

Über die Feiertage war es erholsam ruhig im Industriegebiet , die Wohnung ist gemütlich und praktisch eingerichtet und hat für Paare mit Schnarch-Problematik gute Ausweichmöglichkeiten. Wir nutzten die Unterkunft nur zum Übernachten ,Fernsehen und Duschen, weil wir unsere Familie besuchten , also haben wir sonst kaum etwas genutzt. Parken am Straßenrand war für uns kein Problem über die Feiertage, obwohl wir kurzfristig auch vor der Tür hätten stehen dürfen. Gute Unterkunft , empfehlenswert ,gern wieder.

Kleinigkeiten : Der Wasserdruck zum Warm-Duschen ist leider sehr gering , es dauert länger bis man fertig geduscht hat, das Dusch-WC ist ein ca 3 Quadratmeter langer "Schlauch" , aber ausreichend für jeweils einzelne Benutzung. Die Wohnung ist nur durch das Smart-Lock der unteren Hauseingangstür verschließbar , obere Wohnungstür ist ohne Schlüssel -also stehts unverschlossen über eine Treppe erreichbar. Man hat das Gefühl durch zwei weitere Türen könnte sich jemand Zugang verschaffen, ein Schlüssel wäre gäbe ein Sicherheitsgefühl. Sichtschutz und Abdunkelung könnte besser sein, wir konnten trotzdem gut schlafen.

The apartment was appointed as expected from the photographs, clean and tidy. The kitchen was well-equipped, including a toaster, and there were, for our four night stay, sufficient coffee machine pods included. If we were staying longer these may have needed to be refreshed. Unless you have mobility issues the location is within reasonable distance for walking into the nearby woods and the town of Bad Lippspringe, where there are plenty of ice cream parlors, shops and a variety of restaurants. There is a fuel station, and a supermarket nearby, too, for those who are self-catering.

What the photographs don't show, and description doesn't tell, you is that there is a flight of stairs to reach the apartment. There's a wide driveway for the associated business beneath the appartment, and a connecting property. The instructions were to park on the road (curb), so the "Free on-site parking" label for this listing is misleading, free, but not on-site, it's on the road, under trees. The photographs also don't show how narrow the combined sink/toilet/shower room is. People on the larger side may struggle to move around easily. The location is reasonably quite, although it is in an industrial estate so there's the possibility of it getting noisy at times. Despite the "The entire place is yours", the host has a rule about visitors; before you can have anyone around, for example for tea/coffee and cakes, you must contact the host and get their permission. It took two attempts (more than 15 hours apart) to receive a reply, contact worked after using the host's WhatsApp number, having not received a reply using Booking dot com messaging. Hand soap is listed as being included, however this ran out late on the evening before we left, at which point it would have been rude, and perhaps unreasonable, to disturb the host. If the soap had been topped up properly between guests this would not have happened (we don't use *that* much soap). A soap container by the sink may have held dish or hand soap, the definite dish soap was also almost empty when we arrived. As mentioned, the host has posted a list of rules (in German, which is reasonable, just be prepared with a translation app if you don't read German). This is inside the main entrance downstairs and inside the apartment's door. It's not short, containing ten items.

Gute ausgestattete und sehr schön eingerichtete Ferienwohnung. Die gesamte Abwicklung verlief reibungslos.

Die Lage. Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich im Industriegebiet. Die Balkontür im Schlafzimmer klemmt.
