Nice large room with desk and plenty of wardrobe space. Bed was comfy. Lots of doors that opened with excellent shutters to keep the light out. Also had a pullout bed in a wardrobe if required for extra beds. It was quiet considering it was on the main road. Very clean. Breakfast quite basic, ham, toast, croissant & jam, tea/coffee.
When we arrived the lady on reception was most abrupt, not welcoming at all and just said 'passports'. No please or thank you. Told me to get out of the dining room when I was just looking. The roof creaks every few minutes during the night. I hardly had any sleep at all. The menu was not at all appealing with pigs ears & trotters and peppers stuffed with oxtail or cod so we ate in our room.
