Villa La Rosa with Spectacular view of Ocho Rios

The place is very secure, quiet neighborhood, nice clean comfortable house, with all cooking amenities

I was surprised there is no washing machine

It felt homely, it was nice and modern and we enjoyed our stay.

Don’t have any bad words to say about from having access to the laundry room would have been nice.

The property was safe and quite ,the ambiance was good. It was comfortable , all rooms have it own bathroom plus a power room if hour in the living room. It have everything to use for your comfort like home. It have a community pool , gym ect.

Little issues here and there the first night but eventually got solved. Communication with host Stacey was good. Stacey was pleasant and try her best to make sure my issues were solved. Dominoes and other game board to use if you like playing games. Pool floater and ball for kids to use if you have kids and tennis equipment.

The location

- The biggest things is the ants problem they are everywhere and one evening we got back and the place was covered in flying ants yet we had no doors open. - No access to washing machine although it was advertised in the booking.com description and one of the main reasons I chose air BnB to stay in. I booked air BNB for home comforts as such and didn’t get that. I was travelling for over a month, which meant I had to move on to my next destination with dirty clothes. - Only 1 of the 3 AC remotes in the house works. This also goes for the TV remotes. (A friend had to buy new batteries for us) - the house is damp because of the smart AC units which left a damp smell. - No soap in the third room - Only 1 stained towel in third room - Shower on third room doesn’t work which meant I had to share my on-suite with my other guests. This was an inconvenience as every time the door opens the AC goes (SMART AC unit system is good in theory but not practical!) - AC goes off continuously in the front room after a few minutes despite doors being closed - AC in the front bedroom does not go off as it’s broken - The house in general is very dusty and not the cleanest. - I felt uncomfortable eating at the table sharing eating with ants at the dining table or even making food in the kitchen - Visitors policy. Terms are very black and white and not helpful. Very restrictive. I understand security and for the community. Also that you don’t want parties on your property and, however the whole essence of having and air BnB instead of a hotel, it’s to allow freedom and flexibility.ID’s were provided, yet I was still directed about curfew time restrictions for my guests/visitors and made to feel very uncomfortable.
