Oceans Explore Hostel

We had a wonderful stay and were especially impressed by how kind and welcoming the owners were. They provided us with extra towels whenever we needed them. One morning we accidentally overslept, but even though the regular breakfast hours had already passed, they still kindly prepared breakfast for us. The standard check-out time is 11:00 AM, but since our ferry was not leaving until 2:30 PM, the owner generously offered to let us stay longer without us even having to ask. The hospitality was truly exceptional. The owners were always friendly, helpful, and willing to go out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We felt very welcome throughout our visit. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The hosts are just extraordinarily welcoming, friendly and helpful. I travel a lot but haven't encountered yet such selfless and honest people, putting the wellbeing of guests first to this extent. This was this very rare case where my expectations were actually vastly exceeded. Fantastic breakfasts, each day something new and delicious. It's possible to do your laundry on site, and Philip was ready to provide any help or advice needed without simultaneously imposing anything on us, which was just perfect. The location is also great.

The bed in the dorm room was super comfortable! I had an upper bunk with a window which was lovely. The room was also always a good temperature. The staff are extremely kind, they arranged activities (diving and stand up paddle board), the ferry and renting a scooter for me. The breakfast is awesome! Different breads and fruits every morning. The place is also very well organized, there were lockers for your valuable, shoe and bathroom closets too and they provided me with a hand and bath towel. Laundry is available for free (soap included) and there is a breezy space to hang dry everything.

The owners are super kind and gentle. Very close to the port and places to rent scooters and electric bikes. Breakfast is simple (toast, bagel, spread, fruit) but a nice inclusion. The common area is great for working. Beds are self contained and have ample space. Bathroom is large and clean. Washing machine is available.
