Apartment A was spacious, well equipped, private and had great views in all directions, from the sea to the mountains to the pool and terraces. Quiet, but well located for exploring the island.
We liked being welcomed personally by Kathleen despite our evening arrival, and she was on site in her office parts of most days for any queries about the house and the island. If El Hierro was easier to get to we would certainly stay again.

Zeer goed uitgerust en ruim huis. Alles is er. Goed zwembad, mooie tuin. Prettige host die altijd en makkelijk aanspreekbaar was.
Het is even zoeken naar het juiste adres. Het bord 'Finca Afortunada' is door het lettertype lastig leesbaar.

Do not hesitate if you are considering a visit to El Hierro, it is such a unique experience, with wonderful landscape, delightful ocean swimming, very friendly people and high quality cuisine. It feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of Tenerife and Gran Canaria.
And if you choose to go there, I could hardly think of a better place to stay than the Finca Afortunada. It looks nice in pictures, but still far exceeds expectations.
An amazing property in a very special place. Our apartment was well-equipped and very well-maintained, with a nice terrace where we could watch the stars at night while listening to the waves crashing ashore just a few meters away. The garden was full of weird and beautiful flowers, and the pool area was peaceful and dreamy. The La Maceta natural pools was just a short drive away and so was an array of good restaurants. I wish we could have stayed here a lot longer, as this was a little slice of paradise.

Einzelnes zu nennen würde den Gesamteindruck verwässern.
