Last minute rental, Alison and Chris were able to accommodate us . It was nice to have balcony because the room was hot, box fans didn't do much for bedroom expecially. This is common at Mountain Lodge and should be expected. Neighbors dog and children had no boundary from their side of the deck, so they visited a few times.
The bedroom has a window into the hall, also to be expected at Mountain Lodge, but without black out curtains or well fit blinds it is very luminous in the bedroom.

Excellent location right by the slopes. Close to restaurants at Snowshoe. No noise from others nearby.
Some little things could be easily fixed that would make the experience much more pleasant: the toilet paper holder was broken. The towel hanger on door was off. The top glass holder on the dishwasher just falls. The shower is slow to drain so that one stands in an inch or two of water while showering.
