The cabin was clean, comfortable and close to Cumberland Mountain state park and Crossville.

The bath towels were too small.

Nice outdoor space. Very clean. Lots of dishes and utensils. With very little outlay, could be amazing property.

Hard to find in the dark. No lights on, not even a porch light. No flood lights. Kitchen missing a cheese grater, pots and pans worn out. Broken spatula. Mattresses worn out, threadbare linens. Dishwasher not working.

The rental agency or owner (James) in charge of this the property seems friendly and communicated. Easy check-in and a fairly comfortable lodging. The quietness of the surrounding area made for a great opportunity to rest. The place had almost every amenity we needed. Check-out was simple.

Didn't like: The listed amenity... king sized-bed (not getting wet on one side). We try to book a reliable place to stay when working and repeat it weekly, rather than look for a new place each week. Cost isn't an issue and this place was ranked a "9.0." Due to the full experience described below, we will not utilize this option in the future weeks of local work. After a cold day working outside, I was awoken around 10 pm on the first night by dripping water from the ceiling onto me in bed. Found a way to keep the bed from getting wet and then slept on the other side. The other options were to find the folding bed and roll it out to some other room or sleep on a couch, neither being appealing. Due to more morning and afternoon hours of fieldwork, I reported it around 5pm the following day once again online. The property representative's reply: "Thank you for your feedback and for bringing this to our attention. I’m truly sorry to hear about the water issue. Would you be able to provide photos showing which area of the house is affected? This will help us address the problem more quickly." I shared the photos (shown in this review) to a provided #. By not simply ignoring the matter, "catching" the leak, reporting it, and sharing photos we have probably saved them money from further damages to the roof, rafters, ceiling, mattress, and floor. The next message received by me was to share a review if I enjoyed the stay. I had an experience, not necessarily enjoyable, please consider it for yourself: I think this is potentially a nice place, but I would recommend anyone considering staying here to contact a representative of this property to make sure this leaky roof has indeed been resolved. In my singular experience with them, it is on the customer to cope and no compensation will be offered other than a 'thank you' for reporting it.
