A Wave from it All

It was really a great stay and the place was so clean and so organised too. We really enjoyed it and mosts of the kitchen stuffs are all available at the house. They had bikes too that you can use to stroll around the place. The area was so quiet and we had always a relaxing night sleeps. You can see kangaroo’s as well around the area

I had really nothing to say about the property. It’s just that you have to bring your own toilet papers as they don’t provide it and your own towels and bed linens too. Over all it was a great place to stay and relax.

The kitchen was well appointed and included pods for the coffee machine, tea, sugar, paper towel etc plus a good laundry with pegs, clothes aired and vacuum cleaner. The place was immaculately clean and very well-lit. The neighbourhood was quiet at night and the beach was very close by. Plenty of spots to sit and relax. We had a weekend away for 4 women and were very comfortable. The property appears to be regularly used by the owners and well cared for. Netflix was appreciated and the tv was huge. The real estate agent (it is managed by an agent) allowed us an early check-in and late check-out which was very pleasing.

The hot water didn’t work. Hopefully that will have now been fixed and clear instructions will now be provided so this is no longer an issue. We didn’t chase it up with the agents during our stay as we were only there two nights and the weather was warm enough to deal with a cold rinse after the beach. It wasn’t clear from the listing but the agent provided the info when asked: The bedding configuration is QB, DB then one room with a DB and two very basic IKEA singles. There is only one toilet which would be a challenge if you had 8 people staying! The screen door was also tricky to unlock but a helpful neighbour gave us advice, and hopefully the agents have now also fixed that issue. The bbq was so huge that we couldn’t be bothered taking the cover off to use it! Also the front deck would benefit from a proper outdoor lounge (we also didn’t bother uncovering the lounge on the porch, but did use the patio table.
