About this country house rental
Iron Pear Tree farm has been family run for three generations. Restoring the unused farm buildings has been a labour of love for us, and we wanted to make sure that we provided unique accommodation whilst maintaining the history of the buildings. The farm is a working one, so guest will be able to relax and enjoy the country setting, as well as get to know our animals. Views out across the farm provide the perfect backdrop for a country get-away whatever the season.
The space
Silo Two is a beautifully converted grain Silo located on our working farm. Circular inside, the Silo boasts a spacious double mezzanine level bedroom, open plan kitchen (excluding oven)/living area and separate bathroom. Much of its original exterior has been retained giving the space a modern industrial feel. This property also has an enclosed garden to the rear with seating area and bbq as well as it's own garden silo which houses a wood fired hot tub and sauna.
All with gorgeous country views out across the farm.
*Please note* - 1 medium to large dog or 2 small dogs are welcome in the silo. However due to layout the dogs cannot go upstairs or be left unattended in the silo. There is a fenced shingle garden and lovely country fields to walk them in.
Guest access
Access to and from the surrounding villages and towns could not be easier with our very own bus stop situated just outside the farm entrance. Just a short drive into the village is a lovely pub, and if you are looking for somewhere to eat there is a variety of pubs, restaurants and eateries just a short drive away.
Free onsite parking for up to TWO cars is provided right outside your accommodation.
Other things to note
Please Note: Our Hot Tub is wood fired. It will be filled ready for guests arrival but guests will need to start the fire and heat the water themselves. All logs and firelighters needed are provided free of charge for the duration of the stay, and full instructions on how to best use the fire and tub are in our welcome books and laminated sheets in the garden silos themselves.
Living on site we are also available to assist if needed when we are home and our contact information is also listed in the welcome book.
