About this house rental
City of London requires hosts to live onsite. I use the basement suite. I use my office in a private area of the house marked as such. There are no shared spaces. Safety devices are installed, inspected and maintained. Casual-Contemporary. 1600 sqft private guest space PLUS 700 sqft of deck and patio (seasonal access). Large bedroom with streaming TV, double sided fireplace and ensuite. Living room with Home Theatre. I will greet upon arrival, provide orientation, then leave you to enjoy! My cat (Annabelle) is very quiet and gentle and will be with me 90% of the time. NOTE: Special Events such as group dinners, professional photos or filming should be announced at time of booking as special daily rates may apply. If not approved prior, additional fees will be charged and/or your reservation declined without refund. There are no children of any age or pets permitted with exception to certified service animals upon approval from the host.

We found everything that we needed quite easily and felt that the house was stocked very well including lots of little things that are not always thought of by hosts (toothpaste, dental floss, soaps, steamer for clothes etc.) The bed was very comfortable and we loved having the double-sided fireplace - so cozy! The hot tub was lovely and very refreshing as it was so cold outside during our stay... so much fun to slip into the hot water while it was snowing! We thoroughly enjoyed watching the river and the birds/wildlife and found the area to be very peaceful. Kevin was easy to communicate with and very respectful of our space and privacy. He was an excellent host and we look forward to returning. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Overall, the stay was fine. The location was nice, the hot tub was lovely, and was saw both deer and bald eagles from the back porch view. I understood that the host would be onsite per the London regulations and while we didn't see him after the introduction and the first few interactions, I didn't realize he would still be on the same floor as us. I was envisioning separate accommodations or floors. Not bad, just not as private as I was hoping for. Still a nice weekend.

The property’s location was great for us with a beautiful setting and access to walking paths along the river. We had access to a large warm hot tub on the patio though we didn’t use it. Kitchen is very well appointed. Comfy bed and large bathroom with lots of counter space. Our host was very nice and though living on site, we didn’t see hm after our initial meeting, he was very discrete.

It was a wonderful place to enjoy a peaceful couple of days. The host was great and we will definitely be staying there again.
