We truly enjoyed staying in this home. It is clean and comfortable. Plenty of basic supplies to get us through our week-long stay. Owner answered all questions promptly and provided clear instructions. We appreciated the light switch labels, beach chairs, welcome snacks and drinks, and abundance of dishes! The location is quiet and convenient.

The beach house has everything you need for the whole family, even the beach gear! There are some areas of improvement, but overall we enjoyed our stay. Beware that this house on stilts will sway anytime someone walks around.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Shell Cottage. The location was perfect—peaceful and quiet, but still just a quick 10-minute drive to Bethany Beach, restaurants, and shops. Our beach days were great, and parking at the beach was super easy, which made things even better.The cottage was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were really comfortable, and there were plenty of towels. We loved starting our mornings with coffee on the screened-in porch. There was also a nice selection of board games that made it great for our family.There were welcome drinks and snacks when we arrived, which was such a nice touch and made us feel right at home.Charles, the host, was friendly and quick to respond to any questions, which made the whole experience even smoother.It really felt like a home away from home. We’d definitely love to come back!
