A highlight for large families—arrive and feel right at home—the approx. 140-square-meter, sunny, 4-room, non-smoking apartment “Muschelsucher” on the 1st floor of a detached house impresses not only with its great floor plan but also with the family bed in the largest of the 3 bedrooms—at 2.80 m wide, it features individual slatted frames and mattresses for a restful night’s sleep. This comfortable apartment—not least thanks to its 2 bathrooms—offers the perfect setting for your “feel-good vacation with a Scandinavian flair” for up to 8 people. In addition to the double bedroom with a reading nook and a small workspace, there is also a twin bedroom; the single beds here can easily be pushed together to form a double bed.
The entire apartment features underfloor heating and is furnished in a modern, bright style—the Scandinavian aesthetic runs through every room. The living/dining room includes a wood-burning stove and an open, fully equipped kitchen (you can choose between a fully automatic coffee machine or a classic coffee maker). The dining area features an extendable table with plenty of space. The shower room and full bathroom each have a window. For your entertainment, there’s internet TV and radio in every room (Netflix with your own login); a safe for valuables, Wi-Fi (high-speed internet), and a collection of games round out the great amenities. Cozy evenings on the large balcony are guaranteed. There’s an open bike shelter behind the house and one parking space right next to the house.

All beds are equipped with our own mattress protectors, pillows, and blankets; please bring your own beach towels and blankets. We can provide rental linens; to do so, you must book the “linen box per person” option. You’ll receive the (booked) linen box at our office upon arrival.

Friendly, house-trained dogs are welcome “guests”; they must be registered and may not be left alone in the accommodation. One-time final cleaning surcharge of €30.00 per dog. Other pets are not permitted. You may bring a maximum of 3 dogs to this apartment (please note that access is via an outdoor staircase).
Two dog-friendly beaches—one on the cliffs and one in Heidkate—are within easy walking distance (approx. 2 and 4 km from our house). Heidkate Beach even has a water sports school, restrooms, and a snack bar. Just 100 m from the Muschelsucher, the popular hiking trail begins—perfect for a morning walk among fields and meadows.

The municipality of Wendtorf charges a lodging tax for private stays; no visitor’s cards or similar documents are issued.

It’s about 600 meters to the supermarket with a café terrace, skate park, and children’s adventure area, and about 900 meters to the bike and boat rental; and it’s just 300 m to the bus stop.
It doesn’t get any fresher than this: fish caught that very day, straight from the boat, is available at the marina, about 900 m from your apartment—where you can also get hot meals.
