The Sea Across the Road Penthouse 5

The view, the facilities, the host was very thoughtful

This is the second time I have stayed in one of the host’s apartments and I must say that both experiences have been highly positive. The host is very courteous and professional with good communication. On this particular occasion I stayed in the “Penthouse” which is located on the 5th floor of the building and can be reached by lift or stairs. The apartment was very clean when I arrived. It has an amazing view of the sea from the very large terrace (which you can access from both the kitchen and bedroom areas). Sunbeds and a table with chairs are provided for use on the terrace. It is ideal for two people and in fact, there are two good sized single beds in the bedroom area. The apartment is an open plan type with no internal doors (except for the bathroom). Therefore, there is a long corridor linking the kitchen/living area to the sleeping area. The kitchen is fitted with everything you may need for your stay, including a dishwasher. There is also a washing machine within a utility cupboard on the terrace. The bathroom is fitted with a shower and hand soaps were provided. There is another smaller terrace (with a view of other buildings) where you can dry your clothes. Even though I did not have to use it, air conditioning is installed within the apartment. Within the open plan kitchen area, there is a small living area with 2 wicker type seats where you can watch cable TV. Wi-fi is available. The apartment was as described in the Booking.com post with realistic photos. Situated in a strategic part of St. Paul’s Bay it is within walking distance of shops and restaurants. I was not disturbed by traffic as it is a quiet residential area. Bed and bathroom linen was provided. Extra pillows, blankets and duvets are available. The apartment provided me with all the necessities needed for my stay in Malta and I would definitely return and can recommend this structure to others.

Za to nemůže ubytovatel, ale v blízkosti je stavba s počátkem od 6 am.

Our host Joseph was amazing, very helpful, greeted us when we arrived, told us information about the area. The apartment was spacious and clean , beautiful view of sea and close to all areas we needed, either walking or bus route. Local shops are ok , found a bakery called Gormina on main road very good for essentials and the ideal shop at the top of road good for quick but for essentials.

This was our first time in Malta and it took a bit of getting used to . The area looks run down ( but not just at st Paul's) , to what we are used too , but some of the buildings close by are being refurbished, however not good when you get banging and drilling at 730 in the morning 🤣 when you're on your holiday
