Beautiful Honfleur

There is a lot to really like about this property. It is in a great location. It has a stylish decor. The two beds were comfortable. It was excellent value for money. It is over three floors. Off the street level you go into an alleyway between two houses. In through the front door there are 2 or 3 steps up and then the small single bedroom is off to the right - through a small door and then there are 2 steps down into the single bedroom which is tastefully but simply furnished and the bed is comfortable. There is an en-suite toilet and washbasin to this room. If you go back to the main staircase - this is a wooden curved staircase - you go up to the first floor and the staircase opens out into a lounge - diner. There is a small kitchen in this room, with a dining table and chairs and a double sofa which is also comfortable. On this first floor level is the main bathroom - with a toilet, washbasin and shower. You then return to the main staircase which winds up to the main - very large bedroom on the second floor. This includes a comfortable king size bed and other furniture with sloped ceilings because of the eaves. There is no toilet or bathroom on the second floor. The property is really well located close to the main tourist area, the shops and harbour. It is only two minutes to the Eugène Boudin museum which is well worth a visit. Only 6 minutes to the nearest free parking at the Naturospace. And we absolutely fell in love with Honfleur.

The property involved quite a lot of turning stairs and the entrance to the single bedroom would be a challenge for anyone with restricted mobility. Really there is little the owners can do about this - although a stair rail would help. Many properties in the tourist old quarter will have narrow, winding stairs. However, a proper closing door for the single bedroom is really needed. And both door handles fell off the toilet door in the single room - a fault mentioned in an earlier review. And despite it being self catering it only had one desert spoon (plenty of knives, forks, teaspoons)…an odd one! Just needs a bit of attention to detail and it would be so good.

Super joli, du cachet, confortable, bien situé, 2 degrés de plus seraient parfaits

Emplacement, décoration soignée, lits confortables Beaucoup de cachet pour cet appartement qui dispose de l'arrivée autonome.

Les radiateurs sont commandés à distance par la gérante. C'est pour cela que lorsque j'essayais de les régler, rien ne changeait. Il faisait exactement 20,8 degrés dans la pièce de vie. Correct mais j'aurais bien voulu régler à 2 degrés de plus le soir notamment, sans avoir à demander. Visiteurs frileux s'abstenir. La pièce de vie est attenante à une jolie salle d'eau. Mais le radiateur sèche serviette ne fonctionnait pas. J'en ai fait part à la gérante, qui m'a dit que c'est elle qui gérait la température de l'appartement via une application (chose que j'ignorais jusqu'alors), elle a donc augmenté la température du salon après la 1ere nuit (ainsi que les autres radiateurs). En laissant la porte de la salle d'eau ouverte, ça allait un peu mieux...mais d'entrée de jeu, une salle d'eau non chauffée quand il fait 11 degrés dehors et que la pièce de vie est pré-réglée à 20 degrés sans ajustement possible de notre propre chef, c'est une petite mésaventure sur le plan du confort.

L’emplacement de l’appartement est idéal, l’appartement est très confortable et décoré avec goût. Les échanges avec l’hôte sont fluides. L’appartement est vraiment très agréable et nous y avons passé un très bon moment.

Ayant une mauvaise qualité de sommeil, j’ai été dérangé par la lumière du jour dans la chambre.

La mansarda è praticamente un forno, minimo necessiterebbe un ventilatore, ammesso che basti. Il divano è sporco, coperto da un pellicciotto. Dalla doccia esce l'acqua

Logement atypique et fabuleux

Logement atypique avec un grand charme, très bien placé dans une rue calme, pas loin de l'église. Nous avons été surpris de l'emplacement de la petite chambre qui se trouve à côté de la porte d'entrée. L'ensemble est harmonieux. Le logement est propre et dispose de tout le nécessaire adéquat à notre séjour (serviette de bains, sel, poivre, assiette, couverts, verres et tout autres ustensiles, dosettes de café...). Nous serions bien restés qqles jours supplémentaires dans ce beau logement ainsi que cette très belle ville.

Logement : petit bémol sur la porte de douche, mais au vu du nombre de serviettes mises à disposition, il suffit d'une pour éponger ;) Voisinage : d'autre location autour, et certain manque de savoir vivre. Réveillé en pleine nuit par de la musique et des chants.
