EDGE Sea View Holiday inn Pattaya Central

Stayed one week with my wife in a sea view suite. Honestly surprised - windows block all noise from the bars below, WiFi is faster than at home, bed was great. Pool on the roof is amazing at night. Coming back in October.

10 nights here, first time in Thailand. The WhatsApp staff helped with everything, super fast. Bed was so comfortable my husband actually slept through the night, which doesn’t happen often. Kitchen was useful too, we cooked a few evenings. We booked a yacht day trip through them and it was so relaxing, really the highlight of our holiday.

Mate, booked 6 nights with the missus and ended up staying 8 in the end. Got a sea view room on the 28th floor I think it was, anyway high up. The bed — I’ve got a dodgy back from years of office work and usually wake up sore in hotels. Didn’t happen here once. Missus kept nicking the pillows so we asked for an extra one, sorted within the hour. Location’s the other thing. Beach is barely a minute on foot which we used most mornings before it got too warm. Shopping mall’s about 3 minutes the other way, did a big shop there once and brought it all back without much hassle. There’s a bar street round the corner — we did a night down there, plenty going on, didn’t hear a thing from the room after. Only gripe — lifts get hectic between 11 and 12 when everyone’s checking out, waited a fair while one morning. Bloke at the desk apologised, not his fault really.

Came over for 8 nights, mostly working. Wanted somewhere with decent wifi and a desk that wasn’t shoved against a wall, and this did the job — speed was actually quicker than my flat back home. Bed surprised me. Slept properly every night, which never happens when I’m away for work. No idea what the pillows are but they’re miles better than the rocks most hotels seem to use. Pattaya itself isn’t really my thing but the hotel made the trip easy — coffee place a couple of minutes away, mall down the road with plenty of food, beach barely a minute from the door if I needed a walk to clear my head. Ended up eating at the same noodle place three times because I couldn’t be bothered exploring.
